All activities related to the final project
managed by the Project Unit Department of Mechanical Engineering. The committee
consists of lecturers from four units in the Department of Mechanical
Engineering.
The text is made up of a number of sections. The major sections of the report normally include, among other things, the following: a) Introduction This section sets forth the rationale, significance and objectives of the study. It includes details of the background, objectives and scope of project. b) Literature Review This section includes a fully-referenced review and discussion of previous studies which are relevant to the project. c) Research Methodology This section gives a detailed description of the research methods and instruments materials used. a) References and Bibliography Any report which makes use of other researchers’ work, either in direct quotation or by reference, must contain a ‘References’ section listing these sources, If pertinent works have been consulted but are not specifically cited in the text, they should be separately listed as “Bibliography.” This section begins on a fresh page bearing the heading REFERENCES in capital letters, centred without punctuation, about 3.5 cm from the top. The list of references begins four spaces below the heading and is double-spaced between entries but single spaced within each entry.
